The 4^th joint volunteer cleanup action around Veikou Park in Galatsi, took place with great success on Saturday, April 5^th, as part of the ongoing collaboration between SANITAS, the leading household products brand of Sarantis Group, AB Vassilopoulos and TEXAN in support of the work of Save Your Hood.

This action follows our commitment to adopt and systematically care for this area through cleanup initiatives, highlighting the dedication of the participating organizations to sustainability and environmental protection. Veikou Park, one of the city's most important green lungs, welcomed volunteers from Sarantis Group employees, AB Vassilopoulos, and members of Save Your Hood for the fourth time, who worked together to clean up the area.

During the event, over 5,000 liters of waste were collected and removed, significantly improving the cleanliness of the area for both residents and visitors. SANITAS, with its expertise in household products, played an essential role by providing the necessary tools and products, such as FLEX&STRONG trash bags with textured technology and 3 layers of strength made from 100% recycled plastic.

Once again, the 1^st Worldwide Mobile "Environmental Education and Recycling Centre" from AB Vassilopoulos in collaboration with TEXAN was present. Volunteers in the action and visitors of the park were informed about the critical importance of recycling and environmental conservation. Additionally, they had the opportunity to experience firsthand how a Rewarding Recycling Machine works.

This collaboration, which strengthens responsible business practices and supports the local community, underscores the ongoing commitment of the companies to carry out actions that promote sustainability. The joint effort demonstrates that through collective action and cooperation, we can make a difference and improve the environment around us.
